“Nature is our biggest ally and greatest inspiration” -

Sir David Attenborough

I am an English artist living in an ancient watermill situated in rural Normandy, France.

I make unique embroidered watercolour pictures and appliqued furnishing pieces using a process that I have designed and developed over many years.

This website is a portfolio of my work, for my own record, and in response to many requests from friends and owners of my work. Many people ask to look at my current and future projects and I hope this site enables you to look at these pieces as I produce them.

Some pieces may still be for sale in my Etsy shop. Please click the last link in the top right hand corner of this page to go to my shop.

I am a huge fan of the Art and Crafts movement, and the “Magic Realism” works of Eric Ravillious, Paul Nash, and the Great Bardfield Artists.

My pieces are in the main narrative; and are inspired by the beautiful landscape I live in, the eco projects I am involved with, my journeys through the landscapes of my life, and the enduring memories of those places. Other private works can be commissioned from your own life stories.
